Mr. Karas serves as Chief Lending Officer of TBK Bank, SSB. He joined Triumph in 2012 as Executive Vice President – Asset Based Lending for Triumph Commercial Finance with more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of commercial finance. Prior to joining Triumph, Karas served as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Marquette Business Credit, where he led Marquette’s general factoring business as well as marketing for its asset based lending platform. Previously he served with GE Capital/Heller Financial as Managing Director of the Corporate Lending Group, then the Enterprise Client Group and finally Energy Financial Services. He began his career with JPMorgan Chase, formerly Chemical Bank, in New York and gained experience in credit, commercial and leveraged lending prior to opening Bank of America’s (formerly NationsBank) New York ABL office.
Mr. Karas is currently a member of the Commercial Finance Association Executive Committee and serves as chairperson of the organization’s Education Committee. He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management from Temple University and his Master of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
Jennifer Sheasgreen serves as the president of Triumph Healthcare Finance, a position she has held since 2014. In this role, Mrs. Sheasgreen has P&L responsibility for the division, oversees the day-to-day operations and leads the sales team.
Prior to her current role, Mrs. Sheasgreen was the managing director of Doral Healthcare Finance, which was acquired by Triumph Bancorp, Inc. in June 2014 and rebranded as Triumph Healthcare Finance. She launched the division as a de-novo for Doral Bank at the start of 2011. Prior to this she held senior positions with Marquette Healthcare Finance and GMAC-RFC Health Capital Group.
Mrs. Sheasgreen has over 20 years experience in executive leadership roles spanning all aspects of commercial finance within the healthcare industry to include credit, underwriting, loan closing, operations and portfolio management, and business development.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Management from California State University at Sacramento and is certified as a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association with a concentration in Accounting and Finance.
Ed Kauffman serves as the senior vice president, national sales manager of Triumph Healthcare Finance, a position he has held since 2014.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Kauffman was the senior vice president of Doral Healthcare Finance, which was acquired by Triumph Bancorp, Inc. in June 2014 and rebranded as Triumph Healthcare Finance.
Mr. Kauffman has over 15 years experience in executive leadership roles spanning all aspects of commercial finance within the healthcare industry.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from State University of New York College at Brockport.
Jonathan Kott serves as the senior vice president, portfolio manager for Triumph Healthcare Finance, a position he has held since 2014.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Kott held the same position with Doral Healthcare Finance, which was acquired by Triumph Bancorp, Inc. in June 2014 and rebranded as Triumph Healthcare Finance. Mr. Kott was a co-founder of Doral Healthcare Finance. Prior to this he held several roles with Marquette Healthcare Finance and Aequitas Capital Management.
Mr. Kott has over 20 years of experience in roles spanning all aspects of Finance.
Mr. Kott holds a bachelor’s degree from Pomona College and attended The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
